Comprehensive Originality
This workshop was a seminar on the most important points of planning, direction and production in terms of creating an original animation work. Working from story ideas submitted in advance by the participants, the instructor, Kawamori [name], discussed viewpoints, planning and how to formulate a movie proposal, drawing on his/her own experience. Participants numbered seven, and were selected by Mr./Ms. Kawamori on the basis of the proposals they sent in. The small size of the workshop permitted participants to express their ideas fully and interact with each other as well.

Profile:
Mr. Kawamori was born on February 20, 1960. Since working at Studio Nue, he has been involved in the design of a large number of mechanical character animation works. He is best known for "Barukirii" in "Super Space-Time Fortress Macross??." The transformation that "Barukirii" undergoes has had a big influence on many later robot animation works. He made his debut as a producer in "Super Space-Time Fortress Macross."
Mr. Kawamori was the director for the motion picture version of "Macross Love Do You Remember" Recently, Kawamori has been involved in planning and design for games, including "Macross Digital Mission VF-X," "Armored Core" and other playstations.
